A prototype is an early sample or model built to test a concept or a component to be replicated. Edplas Australia can turn any 3D CAD image into a working component, through rapid laser cutting prototyping technology. This enables our customers to touch and feel the component before the mass production process, allowing them to have a greater confidence in the product produced.

With our CAD/CAM system, we can handle your tooling or injection mould design project from start to finish. Our tradesmen range from toolmakers with decades of experience to qualified machinists, specialising in CAD/CAM, who will meet your projects needs from basic production to precision hand finishing work.

Using the latest technology in machinery and software, our team can produce quality products within a short lead time, at a competitive price. Complex products can be machined straight from your electronic model or alternatively, our experienced designers can create a model for you and feed this information into any one of our CNC machines
